Discover the records of Quebec during a week of research in Montreal Researchers will explore the Société Généalogique Canadienne-Française (SGCF) and the Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ). Daily consultations with expert genealogists, lectures, and group meals will provide you with the tools and resources necessary for a successful and beneficial week in Montreal.

Featured Consultants

Pauline Cusson, retired from NEHGS in 2009, where she was director of member services. She is an executive board member of the American-Canadian Genealogical Society and serves as editor of the American-Canadian Genealogist. Pauline has more than twenty years experience specializing in French-Canadian genealogical research. She is a co-chair of the 2011 New England Regional Genealogical Conference in Springfield, Massachusetts.

 

Michael J. Leclerc, is director of special projects at NEHGS. He supervises publications of  the Newbury Street Press, serves as editor of NEHGS eNews and is a contributing writer to New England Ancestors. As an expert of French-Canadian and Anglo-Canadian genealogy, Michael’s areas of research specializations include: Northern New England, Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritimes of Eastern Canada.

Tuition and Registration

Single, $1,550 (includes lodging at the Hotel Les Suites Labelle).
Double, $1,350 per person (includes lodging at the Hotel Les Suites Labellewith another participant).

Commuter, $775 (three meals, no lodging).
