Connecticut Marriages and Deaths, 1792-1837

Between 1928 and 1933 Rev. John Elliot Bowman compiled thirteen typescript volumes of Connecticut death notices and one volume of marriages transcribed from area newspapers such as the Norwich Courier, Connecticut Observer (Hartford), Columbian Centinel (Boston), Massachusetts Spy, Hartford Gazette, New Hampshire and Vermont Journal, and other publications.

The original volumes are part of the R. Stanton Avery Collections, call number CT 70 28-40.
