In advancing our mission to interpret materials documenting and making accessible the history of families, NEHGS publishes books; a quarterly scholarly journal, The New England Historical and Genealogical Register; and a newsmagazine, New England Ancestors; and a quarterly newsletter that reports the latest research from our ongoing Great Migration Study Project. Our long tradition of print publishing dates from 1847, when the Register first appeared.
