The First Congregational Church of Campton was originally formed by Rev. Selden Church in 1774, but the church did not adopt a strictly orthodox creed until 1807. These records include the names of church members, date and manner of reception, and date and manner of removal, which in many cases also includes the date of death and age at death. The original transcription combined these records with cemetery transcriptions from various towns in Grafton County, New Hampshire (see below). We have extracted the cemetery records from this database and placed them in our Cemetery Transcriptions database.
The original text is in the R. Stanton Avery Special Collections Department of NEHGS, call number NH CAM 40.
