NEXUS Archives

From 1983 to 2000, NEXUS was the news magazine of the New England Historic Genealogical Society. Published five times a year, it contained columns and feature articles as well as NEHGS news and events. Gary Boyd Roberts’ “Notable Kin” column was a particular highlight, and article topics covered a wide range of subjects, including Irish origins, matrilineal and name studies, and material culture (especially photographs), plus some record transcriptions and resolutions of difficult problems. Also popular was a sizable query section, with some answers.
