Hartwells of America Family Association

The Hawkins Association
Descendants of Robert and Mary Hawkins of Charlestown, MA. The Association was founded in 1935 to commemorate the 300th Anniversary of the arrival of Robert and Mary Hawkins in Charlestown MA. This couple had three known sons: Zachariah who settled in Setauket, Brookhaven Town, Long Island, NY; Joseph, who settled near Derby, CT; and Eleazer, who may have settled near Philadelphia and who has no known descendants.

The Hildreth Family Association (HFA) is organized to primarily serve those with the surname Hildreth, who wish to trace their genealogy. The majority of the many Hildreths in America are descended from Richard Hildreth, believed b. in County Durham,Gainford, England 1605, d. Chelmsford, MA 1693,emigrated to NE circa 1635, and Thomas Hildreth, b.unk and emigrated to NE on or about the same time as Richard, traveled to and settled in Southampton, LI and d. there in 1657. DNA has shown that they have a common ancestor, but their relationship remains unknown.

Walter Palmer sailed from England to Salem Mass. in 1629, and in 1652 settled in Stonington, CT. This society, headquartered in Stonington, [Connecticut,] represents the focal point of facts concerning his descendants.

Platt Family Association
The Platt Family Association is for descendants of Richard Platt (1604-1685) of Ware, Hertfordshire, and his wife, Mary Wood (1605-1675/6), who settled in Milford, CT, in 1639, and of Thomas Platt (prob. c. 1685/90-c. 1742) who settled in Burlington, NJ. DNA samples have shown that there is no connection between the two families as previously thought.

The home page of the descendants of Reverend John Robinson, pastor to the Pilgrims in Leyden, Holland before they left for the New World. The good reverend died before he could join his flock in Plymouth, and is buried beneath the floor of the Pieterskirk in Leyden. Most of the American descendants are from his son, Isaac, mentioned in the Great Migration project.

Rockwell Family Foundation
The Rockwell Family Foundation was established in 1992 to further the research on and education about the Rockwell Family. The Sprague Project
The Sprague Database is a computerized database containing information on more than 282,000 individuals from worldwide families of Sprague and Sprague-derivative names. (Derivative names include Sprag, Sprage, Spragg, Spragge, Spraggs, Spraggue, Sprags, Sprake, Spraig, Sprig, Sprigg, Sprigge, and Spriggs.)

The purpose of the Sprague Database is to treat the entire Sprague family as a single entity. There are hundreds of people researching their own lines, but until now there has been no organized effort since the work of Dr. Warren Vincent Sprague (Sprague Families in America, published in 1913) to put this work together to benefit future generations. The Sprague Project is unusual in that it places equal emphasis on recording female and male descendant lines. The Sprague Database is an invaluable resource for those interested in the Sprague line.

The Streeter Family Association is an international non-profit organization for anyone who descends from any Streeter family. William W. Streeter of Northampton, Massachusetts, USA founded the association in 1984.  Association dues include a subscription to the Streeter Genealogical Newsletter.  The association is in the process of compiling and publishing genealogies on all Streeter immigrants to America, their English ancestors, and all of their known descendants

The Stone Family Association
This site is for any one of the Stone name, lineage or marriage connection. You are also invited to become members of the STONE FAMILY ASSOCIATION which was organized in Boston, MA in 1897. The development of this website and the reactivation of the Stone Family Association has been due to the efforts of BYRON THEODORE.
