Birth:  Bennett Morgan was born in England about 1597.

Death:  He was buried on October 8, 1630, according to Charles Banks’ identification.

Ship: Fortune, 1621.

Life in England:  Bennett Morgan was a sailor and has been tentatively identified by Charles Banks as from St. James, Clerkenwell, London. By November 1624 he had returned to England, at which time he testified about the sinking of the Little James.

Life in New England: Bennett Morgan arrived in Plymouth Colony in November 1621. In the land division of 1623 he received one acre, indicating that he had no family with him.He was back in England in 1624, and apparently never returned to Plymouth Colony.

Family: According to Charles Banks, Bennet Morgan married Agnes Porter on November 22, 1619. At his death he had several small children.
