Birth: Richard Gardiner was born in England.

Death: He died either in England or at sea before 1651.

Life in England: Nothing is known of his life in England,
although he may have been a sailor there.

Life in New England: Richard Gardiner came to Plymouth
Colony in 1620. In the land division of 1623 he received one
acre, indicating he had no family with him. He did not appear
in the division of cattle held in Plymouth Colony in May 1627,
so had left the colony by that time.
