He died during the first winter after William Mullin’s death on February 21, 1620/1, and probably after April 2, when the Mayflower left for England.

Robert Carter came with William Mullins as a servant. Carter was referred to in Mullins’ will as “my man Robert” and was probably alive at the time the will was copied on April 2 to be taken to England.
