
There are a number of navigation points on the NewEnglandAncestors.org website. There is static navigation, drop-down navigation and landing page navigation. Here we will show you examples of each and how best to use them when navigating through the website.
TOP STATIC NAVIGATION
The "static navigation" can be found at the very top of each page. No matter what page you are on throughout the website you will alway see this navigation at the top of the page.![]()
LOGIN
As discussed in "Using the NEHGS Website: Getting Down to Basics" the Login button will bring you to a page to login to the website. Your login is the email address you provided and the password is your member number. If you have difficulty logging in you may contact Membership at (888) 296-3447 or by email at membership@nehgs.org.

Details on our visiting our library on 99 Newbury Street in Boston, MA.
Includes information on Hours and Fees, Directions to the library, Parking, Accomodations, and a Virtual Tour of our library.
Join/Renew NEHGS
When you are not logged into the NEHGS website the menu will say "Join NEHGS" when you are logged in the menu will display renew. When you click "Join NEHGS" it will bring you to a page explaining some of the benefits of being a member. If you click on renew it will bring you to a screen to choose your membership level of choice.

Help
The help button at the top of each page includes information about logging into the website, how to contact the webmaster and information on frequently asked questions. You will also find the following information:
TEXT-SIZE
At the top left of each page is an option to change the text size. By clicking on the + button you can increase the size of the text on the page. This will also change the structure of the page so some of the pictures and tables may be off when you adjust the text size. To decrease it back to the original size click the - button until it is back to the original size.
